“Golden Birthday”

Every year on my birthday, I create a self portrait, and seeing as my golden (22nd) birthday was the same year as my college graduation, I figured I would combine them both. The mermaid is me, the lotuses and peacocks are for Afreen dance team and the Brown student body I found community in at college, starfish for my ENVS and Geology majors, and a graduation tiara which I had on in real life.
